U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who serves South Carolina’s 1st district, published several posts on her social media account between October 11 and 12, 2025, highlighting topics ranging from statements by a fellow senator to local achievements and tributes to veterans.
On October 11, Mace shared a post regarding Senator Mazie Hirono: “BREAKING: Dem Senator @MazieHirono admits there are biological differences between men and women.”
The following day, she posted about a family visiting her Washington D.C. office in memory of their late relative: “This beautiful family stopped by our D.C. office to remember their husband and father, who gave his life in service to our country, a veteran from right here in South Carolina.
Thank you, Shannon, and your family, for visiting.
His legacy of service will never be forgotten.”
Later on October 12, Mace recognized the decade-long presence of Volvo Cars in the Lowcountry region: “As we celebrate 10 years of @volvocars in the Lowcountry, we’re reminded innovation and investment drive jobs, growth, and opportunity for our state.
With @volvocars advancing these efforts and @HenryMcMaster’s leadership, South Carolina is powering the future.”
Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st District in Congress since replacing Joe Cunningham in 2021. She previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Born at Fort Bragg in North Carolina in 1977 and currently residing in Charleston at age 45, she is also an alumna of The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree earned in 1999.
