Rep. Nancy Mace, who represents South Carolina’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on constituent services, local public safety funding, and concerns about children’s books at a Charleston library in a series of posts on February 2, 2026.

Mace has represented South Carolina’s coastal district since replacing Joe Cunningham in Congress in 2021 and previously served in the state legislature from 2018 to 2020. She was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina and resides in Charleston. A graduate of The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree earned in 1999, Mace continues to focus on constituent service and community issues as part of her legislative agenda.
