Rep. Nancy Mace, a U.S. Congresswoman representing South Carolina’s 1st district, expressed concerns and criticisms regarding current national security and immigration policies in a series of posts on March 25, 2026.

In her first post at 18:25 UTC, Mace raised questions about the ongoing war in Iran, stating: “The justifications presented to the American public for the war in Iran were not the same military objectives we were briefed on today in the House Armed Services Committee. This gap is deeply troubling. The longer this war continues, the faster it will lose the support of”.

Later that evening at 19:30 UTC, she criticized members of the political left for their stance on Department of Homeland Security funding and voter identification laws: “The Left won’t fund DHS because they want to protect illegal immigrants. The Left won’t pass voter ID because they want them voting. And they stay silent when innocent Americans are killed by those here illegally. The Left does everything possible to put illegal immigrants”.

At 20:22 UTC, Mace commented on defense policy and named Senator Lindsey Graham specifically: “And yes, when we say Washington’s war machine, we mean Lindsey Graham.”

Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st district since 2021 after succeeding Joe Cunningham. Before her tenure in Congress, she served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently residing in Charleston, Mace graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
