Rep. Nancy Mace, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing South Carolina’s 1st district, has recently shared her views on various issues through a series of tweets. Mace, who replaced Joe Cunningham in 2021 and previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020, expressed strong opinions on national security and law enforcement.
On July 8, 2025, Rep. Mace posted “Peace through strength. There is no better example than Donald J. Trump.” This tweet suggests her support for former President Trump’s approach to international relations and defense.
Later that day, she commented on an incident involving violence with a post stating “This was attempted murder, plain and simple. No plea deals. No slaps on the wrist. Restore law and order in this country.” This statement reflects her stance against leniency in criminal justice proceedings concerning violent crimes.
In another tweet posted on the same day, Mace criticized certain perspectives regarding immigration enforcement: “Imagine thinking ICE is the problem, not the m*rderers they arrest. Welcome to Democrat logic.” Here she underscores her support for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations while critiquing opposing viewpoints.
Nancy Mace was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently resides in Charleston. She graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
