U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who serves South Carolina’s 1st district, shared updates on her recent congressional activities through a series of posts on December 10, 2025.
In a post at 12:00 UTC, Mace announced the resolution of an IRS issue for a local medical practice: “MACE WIN: We helped return over $500K to Beaufort Pediatrics! After repeated unsuccessful attempts to get the IRS to process their Employee Retention Credit claims, Beaufort Pediatrics contacted our office. We coordinated with the Taxpayer Advocate Service and secured $576,493” (December 10, 2025).
Later that day at 14:45 UTC, she introduced new legislation related to public spaces in Washington D.C.: “INTRODUCING: The Charlie Kirk Freedom of Speech Plaza Act to rename the designated ‘Black Lives Matter Plaza’ in Washington DC. Today marks three months since Charlie Kirk was assassinated in cold blood. He was a peaceful leader who stood for free speech, open conversation,” (December 10, 2025).
At 15:26 UTC on the same day, Mace highlighted ongoing efforts against human trafficking and the use of technology in law enforcement: “Human trafficking remains a devastating crisis across America, and we must ensure law enforcement has every tool possible to hunt down and stop these predators. TODAY AT 2PM: We’re holding a @GOPOversight Subcommittee hearing on how AI and technology can help close gaps, save” (December 10, 2025).
Nancy Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st District in Congress since replacing Joe Cunningham in 2021. She previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020 and is an alumna of The Citadel, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999. Born in Fort Bragg in North Carolina in 1977, she currently resides in Charleston.
