Rep. Nancy Mace, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing South Carolina’s 1st district, shared her thoughts on leadership, international security, and justice through a series of tweets on June 17, 2025.

In her first tweet at 18:27 UTC, Rep. Mace expressed gratitude towards President Biden for his leadership approach by stating “Peace doesn’t come from weakness. Thank you, @POTUS, for leading with strength.”

Shortly after, at 19:36 UTC, she addressed concerns about nuclear proliferation in a direct manner by tweeting “We can’t let the same people who chant ‘Death to America’ have nukes.”

Later that day at 19:38 UTC, Rep. Mace reflected on a personal meeting with the Spivey family. She highlighted their collective pursuit of justice with the words “Justice. A word we kept going back to at lunch with the Spivey family today. We stand with them in faith, in grief, and in the fight for what is right. May Scott Spivey rest in peace.”

Nancy Mace has served in Congress since replacing Joe Cunningham in 2021 and previously held office in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg and residing in Charleston, she graduated from The Citadel in 1999.
