Rep. Nancy Mace, who represents South Carolina’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of updates on her official social media account covering legislative proposals and constituent services.
On March 31, 2026, Mace posed a question to her followers: “Should child rapists receive the death penalty?”.
Later that day, she announced new legislation related to immigration enforcement, stating: “We introduced the Incentivizing Cooperation in Immigration Enforcement Act, legislation to reward states and localities partnering with federal immigration authorities and put them first in line for federal public safety funding. Nancy Mace has served as a member of Congress since replacing Joe Cunningham in 2021 and previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. She was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently resides in Charleston. Mace graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
