Rep. Nancy Mace, a U.S. Congresswoman representing South Carolina’s 1st district, shared updates on recent meetings and initiatives through her social media posts on April 3, 2026.
In a post published at 15:01 UTC, Mace stated, “We met with leaders from the Aircraft Carrier Industrial Base Coalition to discuss keeping America’s Navy the strongest in the world. Aircraft carriers are the backbone of our strength at sea, and companies like these show us how to build them smarter, with more predictability,” highlighting discussions focused on strengthening naval capabilities.
Later that day at 17:56 UTC, she addressed ongoing inquiries involving the Attorney General by posting, “Attorney General or not, our subpoena still stands. We still have questions we want answered.”
At 18:30 UTC, Mace announced support for local animal welfare efforts: “MACE WIN: We supported $30,000 in funding for Dorchester Paws Every animal walking through a shelter door is counting on someone to care. Not every shelter can keep up. Dorchester Paws does. Their team stands up for, protects, and cares for the voiceless every single day.”
Nancy Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st District in Congress since 2021 after previously serving in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. She was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently resides in Charleston. Mace graduated from The Citadel in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
