Rep. Nancy Mace, who represents South Carolina’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on March 28, 2026, highlighting recent achievements and ongoing priorities related to education funding, national security, and justice for survivors of abuse.
In her first post at 16:00 UTC, Mace announced new federal support for nursing education in her state: “We helped secure a $3.87 MILLION grant for the University of South Carolina Beaufort’s nursing program, a leader in preparing the state’s next generation of nurses. South Carolina faces a growing shortage of nurses, and this grant provides the resources, training, and long-term”.
Later that day at 18:00 UTC, she addressed national security concerns by referencing progress under current leadership: ‘”We are ahead of schedule on most of them, and we can achieve them without any ground troops, without any,” With the Trump administration in charge, America is stronger than ever. We trust the President and Secretary Rubio to handle this conflict without putting American’.
At 20:15 UTC on March 28th, Mace turned attention to ongoing investigations into Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes and the treatment of survivors: “What the Epstein survivors deserve: accountability, justice, truth, and transparency. What they’ve received: delays, backlogs, redactions, and cover-ups. We will not stop pushing for accountability and exposing the truth until these victims get the answers they deserve.”
Nancy Mace has served as U.S. Representative since 2021 after previously serving in the South Carolina House from 2018 to 2020. She was born in Fort Bragg in 1977 and currently resides in Charleston. Mace is also an alumna of The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree earned in 1999.
