Rep. Nancy Mace, U.S. Congresswoman representing South Carolina’s 1st district, recently highlighted her office’s efforts to support infrastructure and military assets in the state through a series of posts on social media.

On May 14, 2026, Mace emphasized the rapid growth of both South Carolina and Charleston, stating: “South Carolina is the fastest growing state in the country and Charleston is one of its fastest growing cities. Investing in our infrastructure isn’t optional, it’s essential. We supported a $140,000 grant through the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Safe Streets and Roads https://t.co/zdfwFCPkE3”.

In another post on May 15, 2026, she drew attention to the significance of military installations in South Carolina’s Lowcountry region: “South Carolina’s Lowcountry is home to critical Marine and Naval assets. From Parris Island to MCAS Beaufort to Joint Base Charleston. Ensuring they have the funding and resources they need has and will always be a top priority. South Carolina STRONG. https://t.co/fGlChrcazG”.

Later that day, Mace described her office’s engagement with local leaders from Jamestown: “Our office met with Mayor Madray & the Town Clerk of Jamestown. We discussed how our office can support the Town by connecting them with specific grant programs based on their needs for police officer equipment and technological improvements. Small towns like Jamestown deserve https://t.co/p6xuS9KO7s”.

Mace has served as a member of Congress since 2021 after replacing Joe Cunningham and previously represented constituents in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020.
