Rep. Nancy Mace, who represents South Carolina’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted legislative efforts and constituent services in a series of posts on her social media account.
On September 7, 2025, Mace emphasized the importance of infrastructure for veterans’ healthcare access, stating: “Reliable infrastructure is essential for our veterans to access the care they’ve earned. Our VA Flood Preparedness Act helps the VA provide funding and support to local governments to reduce flood risks around medical centers, keeping roads, facilities, and services accessible”.
Later that day, she shared a personal reflection: “Every sunset is a reminder: God is good.”
In another post dated September 8, 2025, Mace announced financial returns to constituents: “JUST IN: We’ve returned $35,450,097 to Lowcountry families to date. That’s YOUR money back where it belongs, in YOUR pockets.”
Mace has served as the U.S. Representative for South Carolina’s 1st District since 2021 after previously serving in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. She was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently resides in Charleston. Mace graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
