U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who serves South Carolina’s 1st district, recently used her social media platform to highlight legislative efforts and meetings focused on public safety and election integrity.
On April 9, 2026, Mace posted about new legislation for law enforcement K-9 units: “We back the blue, and their K-9s too. We just introduced the FETCH Act to expand funding opportunities for law enforcement K-9 units and make sure they are trained, equipped, and cared for from day one through retirement. Nancy Mace has served in Congress since 2021 after replacing Joe Cunningham as representative for South Carolina’s 1st district; prior to this role she was a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg in 1977 and currently residing in Charleston at age 45, Mace graduated from The Citadel in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
