Rep. Nancy Mace, a member of the U.S. Congress representing South Carolina’s 1st district, shared her views on various topics through social media posts on June 20, 2025. The tweets reflect her stance on gender identity, workplace culture, and crime policy.

In a post from June 20, 2025, Mace expressed her opinion on gender identity by stating, “No amount of lipstick or legislation will ever make a man a woman.”

Later that day, at 16:01 UTC, she celebrated “Take Your Dog to Work Day,” noting that her dog Liberty often accompanies her to work. She remarked, “We’d call it the best day of the year, but around here, it’s pretty much business as usual.”

In another tweet posted at 16:28 UTC, Mace criticized what she perceives as the Left’s reluctance to accept federal assistance in addressing crime. She commented, “This is insanity. The Left would rather reject federal help than take criminals off the streets.”

Nancy Mace has been serving in Congress since 2021 after replacing Joe Cunningham. Prior to this role, she served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg in 1977 and currently residing in Charleston, Mace graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
