Rep. Nancy Mace, a U.S. Congresswoman representing South Carolina’s 1st district since 2021, has shared a series of posts on her social media account detailing threats received by her office following the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

On September 15, 2025, Mace posted an audio warning and examples of voicemails received: ” WARNING: GRAPHIC LANGUAGE

These are just a few of the voicemails our office has received in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s assassination:

‘The day you die is gonna be such an amazing day.’

‘It’s gonna be even more of a holiday than September 10th, which is now gonna be known as https://t.co/74dSCHVAgF“.

Later that day, she commented on federal funding for educational institutions: “Federal funds don’t belong in schools who celebrate violence.

In another post made on the same date, Mace addressed ongoing threats to her office: “Every threat is being recorded. Every threat is being reported. And no amount of rage from the Left will silence us. https://t.co/QEyFJvpPiI”.

Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st District in Congress since defeating Joe Cunningham in 2021 and previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. She was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently resides in Charleston. Mace graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
