Rep. Nancy Mace, who represents South Carolina’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of updates on her official social media account addressing legislative priorities, travel advice for constituents, and military policy.

On March 26, 2026, Mace called for support of new legislation by stating, “Pass the SAVE America Act.”

Later that day, she provided practical advice to travelers ahead of the busy spring and summer seasons. At 15:01 UTC, she wrote: “Traveling abroad soon?

Spring break and summer are right around the corner, now is the time to check your passport.

Many countries require your passport to be valid for at least six months beyond your return date. Don’t let an expired passport ruin your plans.

In a subsequent post at 15:30 UTC on March 26, Mace addressed U.S. military engagement decisions: “Sending U.S. troops into harm’s way is not a decision we take lightly. Right now, we’re not convinced it’s necessary, and we will not support it.”

Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st district since 2021 after replacing Joe Cunningham. Before her tenure in Congress, she served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently residing in Charleston at age 45, Mace graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
