Rep. Nancy Mace, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing South Carolina’s 1st district, has been vocal about a bill she strongly supports. Through a series of tweets, Mace emphasized the importance of passing this legislation, underscoring its significance for both national security and economic relief.
On July 3, 2025, Rep. Mace tweeted that “Leadership isn’t about comfort. It’s about courage. Delay signals doubt. And doubt, at a moment like this, is indistinguishable from surrender.” She urged her followers to support the bill with a clear call to action: “PASS THE BILL.”
Later that day, at 12:42 PM UTC, Mace reiterated her stance by stating that “A government’s duty is to protect its borders and to let its people keep what they earn.” She claimed that the proposed legislation would achieve both objectives and again pressed for immediate passage: “PASS THE BILL NOW.”
In another tweet posted shortly thereafter at 12:54 PM UTC, Rep. Mace addressed potential opposition by asserting that “If you oppose tax relief for waitresses, truckers, and seniors, then just say so.” She challenged critics not to disguise their opposition as support for the working class while urging action with “PASS THE BILL.”
Nancy Mace has served in Congress since 2021 after succeeding Joe Cunningham and previously held office in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg in 1977 and now residing in Charleston, she is an alumna of The Citadel.
