U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who serves South Carolina’s 1st district, posted a series of tweets on January 13, 2026, addressing topics ranging from the passing of Scott Adams to developments in the Epstein investigation and a visit from an academic leader.
In her first post of the day, Mace expressed condolences regarding the death of Scott Adams: “Deeply saddened about his passing, such a critical thinker, an inspiration for a generation, and died a believer in our savior. God bless Scott Adams and all who loved him.” (January 13, 2026).
Later that afternoon, Mace commented on former President Bill Clinton’s involvement in the ongoing Epstein investigation. She wrote: “Bill Clinton just refused to show up for his deposition in the Epstein investigation for the second time. We fully support @GOPOversight holding Bill Clinton in contempt. No one is above the law. Not even a former president. Survivors deserve answers. Silence protects” (January 13, 2026).
In another tweet posted later that evening, Mace recounted an office visit from Chancellor Panu of USC-Beaufort: “The Chancellor of USC-Beaufort visited our Washington office today. What a surprise! And an honor, he really touched my heart during our visit. Thank you Chancellor Panu!” (January 13, 2026).
Nancy Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st District in Congress since replacing Joe Cunningham in 2021 and previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Born at Fort Bragg in North Carolina in 1977 and currently residing in Charleston at age 45, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from The Citadel in 1999.
