City of Hanahan issued the following announcement on July 13.

If you are interested in playing in the Annual Hanahan Golf Tournament at Yeamans Hall Club this year, this announcement is for you! The Mayor & City Council have a special team and the lucky foursome that make up this team, will be done by a lottery drawing. If you wish to add your name to this drawing, please submit your first and last name, as well as your phone number and email to ehuff@cityofhanahan.com by noon Wednesday, July 21. The names will be drawn live, by the mayor, next Thursday, July 22 via Facebook Live. Four (4) names will be drawn and two (2) back up names will also be drawn, should someone not be able to participate.
A few key items to note:
-The Tournament date is Tuesday, August 3 at Yeamans Hall Club with a 9am shotgun start.
-You must be a Hanahan city resident or business to enter drawing.
-We will notify you if your name is drawn.
-If your name is drawn, you will have 48 hours to submit your $200 registration fee via check.
-Checks are to be made payable to the City of Hanahan and submitted to Emily Huff at City Hall.
-The $200 registration fee includes cart fee, breakfast, lunch, beverages, 2 mulligans and a City of Hanahan golf polo.
-Non-refundable.
-No denim or cell phones are permitted at Yeamans Hall Club.
