When Tony is not working, he enjoys volunteering and supporting his local community. This is evidenced by his service on the boards of the Charleston Regional Development Alliance, Dorchester Children's Advocacy Center, Greater Summerville/Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce where he has served two terms as Board Chair in 2008 and 2017, Trident Technical College Foundation, Volvo Community Group and Beyond BASIC Life Skills where he serves as Chairman of the Board. He is also Past President of the Rotary Club of Summerville and two-time Rotarian of the Year in 2008 and 2016.
