City of Goose Creek issued the following announcement on November 3.
Earlier today, Chief Roscoe and the Goose Creek Police Department made special deliveries to eight local families. The GCPD purchased Thanksgiving meals for the families – meals that included a turkey and other items for a wonderful holiday dinner. Money raised earlier this year from its 5K race allowed the GCPD to expand its charitable programs. Thank you, GCPD, and Happy Thanksgiving! #creekrising
