City of Goose Creek issued the following announcement on February 24.
The City of Goose Creek is drafting a new chapter of its Comprehensive Plan, and the public is invited to review it and give us your feedback.
The new chapter of the plan is called a Resiliency Element, which considers the impacts of flooding, high water and natural hazards on individuals, communities, institutions, businesses, economic development, public infrastructure/facilities, and public health, safety, and welfare. This element promotes efforts for resilient planning, design and development, and coordination with adjacent and relevant jurisdictions and agencies.
