At the Tuesday, April 19, Berkeley County Board of Education meeting, board members unanimously approved the naming of Troy Johnson as the Assistant Principal of Athletics at Goose Creek High.
Mr. Johnson joined Goose Creek High in July of 2021 and was placed in an interim athletics role in the fall.
Mr. Johnson came to BCSD after spending five years as an assistant principal and athletic director at Orangeburg-Wilkinson High. Prior to his time at O-W, he was a coach and assistant athletic director at Stratford High.
