In case anyone has ever wondered what the absolute greatest thing about Cane Bay Elementary’s school library is…the vote among the school’s first-graders is pretty much unanimous: Mrs. Treen is nice.
Not only is she nice, but she clearly makes the school library an awesome place to read books.
April is School Library Month, so these first-graders from Sheldon Siders and Jennifer Mueller’s classrooms recently completed a writing prompt to share some thoughtful feedback on their school library and the beloved school librarian, Heidi Treen.
Whether it is fixing their Chromebooks or helping them learn to read, these students really appreciate everything Treen does for them when they visit the library. Scroll through some of the thoughts they shared below.
