Berkeley County School District (BCSD) has made several changes in school administration ahead of the 2022-2023 school year.
Appointments, administrative changes and hires as of Tuesday, June 28, 2022:
- Dr. Kellie Gebhardt, an assistant principal at Sangaree Intermediate, will serve as the principal at Goose Creek Elementary.
- Courtenaye Johnson, the Title I facilitator at Cross High, will serve as an assistant principal at Berkeley Middle.
- Senfronia Smith, an assistant principal at Berkeley High, will serve as an assistant principal at Stratford High.
- Tanisha Johnson, an assistant principal at Stratford High, will serve as an assistant principal at Hanahan High.
- Kevin Covington, as assistant principal at Goose Creek Elementary, will serve as an assistant principal at Sangaree Middle.
- Jay Burnsworth, the district’s fine arts director, will serve as an assistant principal at Daniel Island School.
- Kelli Farless, an assistant principal at Cane Bay High, will serve as an assistant principal at Berkeley High.
- David Kelly, a former BCSD employee and assistant principal at Greer Middle, will serve as an assistant principal at Philip Simmons Elementary.
- Natisha Ravenell, an instructional coach at Timberland High will serve as an assistant principal at Timberland High.
- David Patterson, an administrative assistant at Sedgefield Middle will serve as an assistant principal at Sedgefield
