With the hurricane season underway, businesses are wise to prepare for the changeability of these summer storms. The Berkeley Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Hurricane Preparedness program on to learn essential ways to prepare your company, business, and assets in the event of a hurricane. Topics will include hurricane preparedness, such as: how to protect and insure your business property, loss of business income, legal steps to take for essential and non-essential employees in case of evacuation, and steps to getting businesses back up and running, and getting people back to work as quickly as possible following a disaster.
