Berkeley County School District’s Adult and Community Education Program will be offering a 15-week welding certification program.
The program was made possible with the support of W. International, which will also provide an opportunity for some students completing the program to be hired.
The program will begin on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 and end on or around December 17, 2022. Classes will be held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
Additional information and requirements are listed below.
- Must have a High School Diploma or a High School Equivalency Diploma
- Must be 18-years of age
- Must live in Berkeley County
- Welding gloves and welding coats supplied
- Must have steel toe shoes
- Must pass a pre-requisite basic skills test to be admitted
- Will receive OSHA-10 Certification during the course
- Attendance is mandatory. Students cannot miss more than three classes during the length of the course.
- Classes will be taught by Randy Goodwin (THS) and Darrin Mack (CBH)
