Welcome back, Berkeley County School District students!
Teachers returned to the classroom on Aug. 8 to prepare for a new school year, and now students are officially back in the building.
Following a fun and final weekend of summer break by hosting the OneBerkeley Back to School Festival, Berkeley County School District greeted thousands of students across its 47 schools on Aug. 15 to start the 2022-2023 school year.

First-year teachers presented their first lessons. Thousands of children walked the halls of a school for the first time.
“This day was a special day for so many,” Jackson said, “and I can say with confidence that our teachers, administrators and support staff did everything in their ability to maximize the experience.”
