Patent office approves 2 patents for Hanahan innovators in week ending November 27

There were two patents granted in Hanahan in the week ending November 27, according to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

This is two more than the week before. Patents included an analyzing eeg with single-period single-frequency sinusoids.

The earliest patent filed which was granted in the week ending November 27 belonged to Denise Suarez Larue who filed in July 12, 2019.

The number of approved patents in the U.S. grew steadily from roughly 225,000 in 2009 to more than 285,000 in 2019. The number of patents approved suffered a slight downturn in 2020.

Gene Quinn with IPWatchdog said the system underneath patents have become unwieldy, specifically for medical innovations.
