The best way to spread Christmas cheer is by singing loud for all to hear (at least, according to Buddy the Elf).
If that is, in fact, the best way to do it, then these first-graders from Boulder Bluff Elementary definitely delivered.
On Dec. 15, the students and teachers crowded into Boulder Bluff Elementary's multipurpose room to listen to the first-graders sing holiday songs, loud and proud.
The event was led by first-grade teacher Lauren Kilgallen. The students looked nice and snug in their holiday jammies, donning Santa hats and shaking jingle bells while they sang on stage. The children covered holiday classics like "Up on the House Top", "Frosty the Snowman", "Feliz Navidad" and "Seven Feet of Snow", complete with hand choreography.
The first-graders did two performances, one for the school during the morning and then an evening performance for their families.
