It's official! Daniel Island School has been named a finalist for the Palmetto's Finest Award by the South Carolina Association of School Administrators. DIS was the only school recognized in the Lowcountry.
The SCASA presents the awards each year to schools which offer the best in innovative, effective educational programs. The Palmetto’s Finest Award is celebrating its 43rd year and is one of the most coveted and respected awards among educators. “We are excited to recognize some of the outstanding and innovative schools in South Carolina. They represent the many excellent school communities serving our state’s families,” said Beth Phibbs, SCASA Executive Director.
DIS will have the opportunity to celebrate with their local community, as the winners will be announced through a live stream to each finalist school on March 15, 2023.
