NCPD officers were honored to participate in the Serve & Connect event at the Walmart on Rivers Avenue. Several law enforcement agencies came together to pack non-perishable boxes of food to fight hunger in South Carolina. The Serve and Connect organization was founded by Kassy Alia Ray. Her husband was an officer with the Forest Acres Police Department when he was shot and killed in the line of duty. We salute Kassy for her great work in the community.
