The College of Charleston equestrian team will compete at the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) Nationals from May 1 to May 3 in Tryon, North Carolina.
This event is significant as it brings together top collegiate riders from across the country who have advanced through previous qualifying rounds. The competition provides an opportunity for student-athletes to showcase their skills on a national stage.
Sophomore Meredith Miramonti is scheduled to participate in the Limit Flat class, while sophomore Emma Heatherton will ride in Limit Fences. Senior Maggie Armes will represent the team in the Intro division. All three riders earned their spots at Nationals by advancing through both IHSA Regionals and IHSA Zones earlier this spring.
The team’s advancement highlights their strong performance throughout the season and demonstrates continued success for Charleston’s equestrian program. No additional background information was provided regarding past performances or team history.
