The Moncks Corner Public Service Department has open employment opportunities. 

Sanitation Operator I

The Sanitation Operator I is responsible for driving and operating the sanitation truck to collect refuse and debris in the Town as a backup driver when the Operator II is not available.  This position also acts as a refuse collector.  Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and one (1) year experience  operating a commercial vehicle.  Valid SC CDL Class B Drivers License required.  Starting Salary is Based on Experience Grade N-104 (Min $31,675 – Mid $40,386).  

Sanitation Operator II

Operates the Town’s sanitation truck for refuse and debris collection. Must have knowledge of all aspects of a Sanitation Department. A High School diploma or equivalent with one (1) year experience as a Sanitation Operator is required. A combination of experience and education of at least (1) year may be considered. Valid SC CDL Class B Drivers License required. Starting Salary is Based on Experience Grade N-106 (Min $36946 – Mid $47,106). EOE

Sanitation Refuse Collector

Responsible for placing refuse and debris in the collection vehicles.  Knowledge of the Sanitation Department preferred.  A High School diploma or equivalent is required.  One (1) year experience preferred.  A combination of experience and education may be considered.  Valid SC driver’s license preferred.  Starting Salary is Based on Experience Grade N-102 (Min $27,157 – Mid $34,625).  This position is Full Time.  EOE
