The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Berkeley County School District, will be hosting several active shooter educational presentations across the county. The purpose of the presentations are to provide the public with the knowledge of what to do should they encounter an active shooter.
Citizens that partake in the presentations can expect to see material about identifying active shooters, identifying common active shooter myths, discovering workplace violence indicators, reviewing and explaining survival options.
